Preparation in top gear as the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) set to launch its technology building today at the headquarters in Abuja.
The NIS has experienced tremendous improvements and development under the leadership of the present Comptroller General, Muhammed Babandede.
The project which began in 2018 by Julius Berger construction company has now finally been completed and set to take off as the information hub and communication centre of the NIS.
The centre will serve as an intelligence sharing unit that would work in collaboration with other security and intelligence structures in Nigeria and across the globe.
The event would be graced by serving ministers and heads of service as President Muhammadu Buhari officially declares the building open.
This project is one of the milestones of the Muhammadu Buhari led administration and an achievement of the Honorable Minister of Interior who is on a mission to "set a new security agenda for Nigeria".
