In Ile Ife today, the Osun State Internal
Revenue Service (OIRS) on sealed off Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife,
unpaid tax reaching about N1.8 billion.
The incident which took place in the early hours of Wednesday morning was confirmed by the school authorities who have promised to resolve the issues in ernest.

However, the University's Senate Chambers, Administrative building and the main gate is currently placed under lock and keys by the tax authorities to restrict free movement.
