Following a twin suicide bomb attack which rocked a Mosque and Market in
Adamawa on Sunday, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has ordered security agencies
to tighten security in within and around the state.

Mr. Laolu Akande, issued a release which stated that the Federal Government condemns
the bomb attacks in Mubi, Adamawa.
He also, said the vice president condoled with the victims and their
families, the government and people of Adamawa adding that the Vice President
expressed the gratitude of the Federal Government to the rescue workers and
medical personnel, who attended to the victims. While assuring that security
agencies were working to apprehend the criminals behind the dastardly act and
bring them to justice.
The Governor of the state, Gov. Umar Jubrilla who was urged to perform an on-the-spot assessment of the incident which left about 27 dead and several others injured has visited the victims who are receiving treatment at Federal Medical Center in Yola where he appealed to people of the state to donate blood for the victims.
Well meaning Nigerians including Sen. Shehu Sani of Kaduna ststae have also condemned the attack.
