At about 9.am today, an unidentified man has reportedly commits suicide
as he jumped to his death from the 6th floor of University College Hospital in
Ibadan.
According to UCH head of public relations, Ayodeji Bobade, the victim
had sneaked to the upper floor uninterruptedly (as a result of the ongoing
JOHESU nationwide strike) and took the jump which led to his instant death.
Efforts are being made to inform the victim's family while his remains
have been deposited at the hospital morgue. Management of the hospital has
also, informed police about the incident involving the yet-to-be identified
victim.
